After a successful term of tennis involving the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program, over 100 children descended on Morningside Tennis Centre on the 11th April to be part of the Holiday Hot Shots Program.
Mayfield & St Ambrose School Holiday Care Centres plus a large number of local children were introduced to Hot Shots activities and games including the tennis speed serve machine.
AASC Regional Coordinator Greg Fox was ecstatic about the number of children who are now enrolled in Tennis Hot Shots at Tennis Gear Centres across Brisbane.
“The interest in Tennis Hot Shots in term 1 has been steadily growing”, Fox said.
“This due in most part to the large amount of promotion done in the AASC program to the start year and the outstanding job Scott Beckingsale and his Tennis Gear team achieved in delivering tennis at a record number of (AASC) sites”.
Tennis Gear is one of Brisbane’s largest providers of Hot Shots Tennis coaching programs.
